The square of the Czechoslovak community is located on 2nd Avenue called also as" the communities" between the intersections with streets 5 and 7.
You can find there the monument of the founders of the Czechoslovak Republic,Tomas Garrigue Masaryk(Czech Republic)(See biography) and and Milán Ratislav Stefanik( Eslovaco) (See biography).

These works were executed by the artist Vlasta Zimek, are made of marble.

The statue of Tomas Garrigue Masaryk was opened in 2001 and Milan Rastislav Stefanik on October 11, 2007. You can see below photographs of the opening event of the last statue.
In the inagural ceremony were present the Slovakian consul, the Mayor Gerardo Cipollini, President of the Czechoslovak union association John Cerny, President of the Slovaks' circle Satina Ana De Borgh, members of the 2007 directive committee, partners, the municipal band and children's ballet Moravanka.
